You're right in Dubrovnik's Old Town, only steps from the Old Port, St Blaise's church, the Rector's Palace and the Franciscan monastery. But, the street is quiet and the building is a traditional solid stone structure.
Local maps provide routes of bus services and cars can be rented just outside the city gates as well as taxis. Private cars can be parked just outside the city walls, parking is charged, and in high season it is difficult to find a space close to the old town. Existing in a contained space within walls, Dubrovnik is a paradise for the old, the young, lovers, and especially children since the city is free of traffic.
